Robert Seymour, surrogate mom

Cat Island is experiencing a long, dry spell.  That means, many of our goats, sheep, horses and chickens, are starving.  Cat Island farmers should be encouraged to prepare for hard times like these.   Any ideas?   Cultivation of moringa for animal feed, perhaps?

This is Robert.  He has about fifty, beautiful goats, including fifteen kids.  He has nursed these two kids, now three weeks old, since their mother died shortly after giving birth.  They get three feedings a day of baby formula.  Robert spends the entire day with his animals, he says, his children.

Please contribute to the welfare of these animals going through hard times.  Donations can be-specifically earmarked for food, medicine, etc.

BTW Robert adopted Snowbelle and Rocky, CIHS orphan potcakes,  some time back.  They love their lovely, hilltop home overlooking the Caribbean Sea.  If you're travelling between Tea Bay and The Cove, stop by and visit.  Unless Snowbelle is out walking w Robert and the goats, I guarantee she will happily greet you.
